It's back!

My darling Divine J borrowed my overlocker last week as her baby had an accident involving a pin tucked into a fold - eeeek! As she was making 100 doll school uniforms for an order I handed my MyLock over instantly.

It arrived back yesterday with Judith's love (and 8 balls of Morris and Sons Paddington yarn!) and now I'm off again.

I've finished up my summer pyjamas, made from a single bed doona cover given to me in a PILE of fabric by my sister. She collected a tonne of strikes from her work and she thought I might find a use for them...oh really? Understatement!

The pattern is Kwik Sew 2811 and I've used it before for my winter flannelette pj's which i have worn almost to death. The thing I love most about this pattern is the little details: fully turned plackets, the little tie at the front of the pants, the binding on the short sleeves.

My next project is a pair of sleep shorts for Felix, using another spare doona. The leftovers will make summer pj's for Marcus, and I may be pathetic, but matching outfits for father and son? Tacky goodness assured!
